I've never been to Port Angeles but, according to my googling around, Flagstaff has a climate that most would prefer. Flagstaff does have colder lows year round however. Seems Port Angeles is a better wetter than flag (Very dry for NW WA) and very cloudy. Flag gets significantly more snow. Port Angeles averages highs below 60 (Jan average high is 44.9 degrees, pretty on par highs with flag in the winter) year round except during the summer where the hottest month of July averages 67.9 degrees. There's more to a place than climate, don't get me wrong but I'd bet Flagstaff, which is quite nice most of the year to most people wins that one big time.

In Flag May through September is quite warm. Personally, either place climate wise works for me but I don't like the hot weather LOL.

Flagstaff has NAU, The San Francisco District, a mall, 2 interstate highways and easy access to major northern AZ destinations like the Grand Canyon and Snowbowl.

This is currently between the 2 towns. I have never been to Port Angeles but it seems Flag should have majority vote on this one.

I gave some votes to Flagstaff and Eau Claire, WI which is another outdoors person's paradise (if you don't mind cold). I'd move to Flagstaff full time if I didn't fly so often. The extra hop or drive between Flagstaff and Phoenix would get old in a hurry.

Sorry, but this is a trend I find very disturbing - soliciting uninformed votes from strangers, which is really tantamount to cheating.

Is the next step going to be buying votes for the elections?

Are you being serious? You can't be serious with this comment. Can you explain how informing people of the poll, and asking for their vote is cheating?
