Okay so I was entering an MLB spring training field in Goodyear, for a girlfriends graduation, when arrived I took a wrong turn in an open grass lot, and did a donut to turn around. Once I parked I was approached my a police officer and told I have two seconds to leave otherwise I would be sent to jail. So I left, he pulled me over, took my info. And said if I come back I would be arrested. Is this even possible? I would be charged for wrecked driving and trespassing? Can he even make it so that I'm "tresspassing?"

If you're told to leave a property by the owner or an authorized agent of the owner (a cop would qualify), then returning would be trespassing. Sounds like you got lucky.

So if I park off the property, and walk on. It would still be risky? I mean there's probably 2000 people there, say he does think he recognizes me, can I refuse to show ID?

So, you left the open grass lot after making that donut, parked in a designated public parking lot and you were told to leave? Because if that is the case, I don't understand why were you warned. Unless I am missing something and you remained parked on someone's private lot...

Yeah, that's exactly what happened. I was already out of vehicle, waking towards the field when he approached me. I never received anything written. It was all verbal. I just feel as if I don't park on the premises, but walk there, especially not haven recieved any form of written warning, I cannot be charged.

is the area private or public? Could be private land. And then you whipped a donut--they don't like that at events.

And tell me more about the "open grass lot" that you did the donut on...

If you are told to leave by a cop, then park your car across the street and come back, you are trespassing. The end.
