Just curious if anyone has any insider info about the future path of 303. I've seen the two possible corridors and the Cotton Rd corridor looks awful for EMR (IMHO). My husband and I love Estrella and would like to move there in the next year or two. Has anything been disclosed to the residents? Are any residents concerned? Thanks in advance for any info/replies.

IIRC the route is likely to be through Rainbow Valley (west of Estrella), though that is not set in stone. There were many public meetings out here and ADOT got the message. I would have preferred the Cotton Lane route. We would have been much closer to freeway access. With the current alignment, we will have to go several miles out of our way to take the 303 anywhere getting east, which is just about every trip you are going to take.

I prefer the Rainbow Valley route, just based on the traffic noise factor as it swings further out from the majority of the community. It's so nice and quiet here and the drone of distant tire/road noise is something that would be nice to avoid as much as possible. Though I have to say ADOT does a good job in keeping road noise down via sound walls, lower noise pavement, etc. I was very impressed with the work they did around Surprise with the 303 and putting up all those sound walls.

OP, not sure if you've seen this article on the topic.

Goodyear backs Loop 303 route west of Estrella community

It's a few years old but shows the view of Goodyear officials/what route they favor.
