Welcome!
Interesting! So that's what that smell is. Thanks!

We are loving it here so far. I could do with a little less heat, but it's manageable.

hahahahahaha

I love hearing all the newbies say that. Thats probably the most common phrase hear in the Valley: "we are loving it here so far."

Give it 5 years. Then youll be like the rest of us... May comes and everyone's attitude starts changing, people get grumpy, crime soars, irritability sets in. Just wait.

Gah! I'm dealing with that BS right now, especially at work. I've lived here for almost 10 years, and I STILL love it here, EXCEPT for every one of you whiny little bi*ches mainly complaining about the heat.

August will be 20 years for me. Still love it...I enjoy this time of year. The heat is manageable and as someone else eluded to...the worst thing about the heat is the constant complaining about it.

Nice 'tude.

I love it here, too, and my post was directed towards the morons who up and move here w/o considering the summer weather, because they want mild winters.

What are the months of monsoon season? Is there an increase in valley fever following dust storms?

I came here because I was offered a good job in a field where work is very scarce in SoCal. My reaction was, "Shoot, I have to move to Phoenix? It's too hot in San Diego as it is. I'm moving to hell." I think I make the best of it overall........

July, August and about 1/3 of September, though it can occasionally start earlier (like this year) or end later. Yes on valley fever.
