Hey guys I am currently contemplating relocating to Phoenix due to a number of factors, many of which I am hoping the desert climate can help alleviate.
I am a 23 y/o man with minimal college experience and recently became disabled in the last year. I am a strong supporter of medical marijuana and am curious if the stigma remains against the community even though it is legal under state law?
Of course I am interested in what area of town I would be most successful living in without a car? Walkability isn't my first priority due to have severe chronic pain in both of my feet. Just being able to reach a decently regular bus line and line rail are my transportation and living necessities.
Although I do enjoy the arts and nightlife my physical condition severely limits this aspect of life so it is not a deal breaker as far as neighborhood choices are concerned.

Any suggestions or comments on where to live and the general attitude toward young disabled people would be great! Thanks in advance!

Northern Tempe and central Phoenix would be areas to consider for good access to busses and light rail.

Lots of people use marijuana for medical reasons, I know some people who use it too and there doesn't seem to be much of a stigma against it here like there is in some states.

You probably won't encounter much in the way of negative attitudes toward being young and disabled, but it would be in your favor to search in areas with better public transportation.
