I'm moving to Scottsdale this month (from the DC/Baltimore area) and would LOVE a recommendation for a hair stylist. I'm in my late 20s and my hair is kind of my "thing" so I would like to find some one who keeps up with current cut/color trends. Age of stylist doesn't matter, but I would prefer some one with at least a few years experience, not some one fresh out of beauty school. The most important part is that I have very curly hair and need to find some one with experience cutting curly hair. It's harder than you might think! I'm not brand-loyal, although I've gone to Aveda salons for the better part of 15 years. The house I'm renting is at Via Linda and Shea, but I'm willing to travel 20-30 min for the right person/salon. I'm used to spending $150-250 on my hair for cut/color, so anything in that range is fine.
