I got accused of and am appealing a decision that my former corporate landlord convicted me of being a danger to the community because my house was clean but not "camp inspection" tidy. I had personal belongings out and they expect your house to be company ready and brochure like at all times. I got evicted and they did not serve me correctly and the judge ignored all I had to say except to mock me and rubber stamped their allegations.

My family has disowned me for a long term relationship that ended and the other party has since died. They would have made up another excuse to hate me. I am not an easy person to endure. Too many good people have shunned me to keep writing off their disdain.

I guess I am a lesser being and what are the encoutrements of life to others are clutter within my realm. A volunteer organization called my monitor, vacuum, magic bullet, phone charger and alarm clock unnecessary clutter. Gee, I thought they were pretty handy household goods. Maybe I should set them out on the sidewalk for someone more worthy.

I will admit to being lazy, disorganized but not filthy the definition of the disease of the week is someone who hangs on to useless stuff. I guess the overriding factor is that I refuse to classify myself as garbage but the universe has other ideas.

With that rambling diatribe now we know you are crazy too. I'm thinking a mobile home on 10 acres out in the desert is where you need to be.

With all due respect, OP, I personally would suggest that you consider speaking with a psychiatric professional.

Craigslist lots of landlords in there you can do what ever you want as long as you pay the rent. I had a co-worker his house flooded and mold grew he could not get his landlord to do anything about it. He said she didn't care about how the house was kept only that he paid the rent. He had cat's and dogs they chewed, peed, and pooped everywhere his weeds were 5 feet high in the front yard.

Well to be honest there might be some good advice in the mobile home suggestion...have you considered not renting? They are good for low income and you can own something instead of being beholden to someone else. Consider it if you plan on staying in the area...?

I'm not sure why you got such a negative response. If you're talking about hoarding/clutter, then you have a serious problem. However, if you're talking about ordinary messiness, that shouldn't be anything unusual. It would be good if you'd taken pictures of what the volunteer was objecting to.

In most rentals, your landlord shouldn't come barging in.
