Being that I can't open my windows (the rockets from Luke AFB very loud), I run my AC for most of the year.

I'm still setting ours at 75 at night to sleep. Very still nights haven't made for great airflow to cool the house off with the windows. AC is staying off all day though and house only gets about 79.

Totally agree, I always sleep with a fan too, not only for the air but for the noise. Lol at grabbing a cat or dog to warm up, I wish my cats would let me do that!

I mean, set it to whatever you normally would, if it never turns on, then what's the difference vs actually shutting it off? If it does turn on, that means it's needed.
Fresh air victory!

I've had mine off since Oct 1.

Since then, I've used my evap cooler exclusively, since I love having the windows open at night and I appreciate the additional humidity the evap provides. SRP hates customers like me.
