My sister's great-nephew and his girlfriend, both under 18, have been missing for 4 days. They are not believed to be runaways.

The police have just this afternoon begun to take action. If you live in the Phoenix area, please share this informaiton. Thank you.

I read the dads' plea on facebook a couple days ago - I couldn't believe the cops weren't even involved at the time - they should be on high urgency mode with search and rescue and amber alerts - they can be broken down on a dirt road somewhere... time is of the essence!! I pray for a good outcome

I also just shared the post on my Facebook wall. And along with the others in this thread, I'm really hoping to hear some good news about/for these kids!

By the way, I realize the article states that they don't know where these two may have gone camping, but if you personally know of anything that might potentially be helpful (like the area that they may likely have wanted to go camping in), that you are able/allowed to share with us, please consider doing that. I only mention this because I live in Payson, where many people like to go camping, so if you have reason to believe that they may be up in/around Payson or the Mogollon Rim area, I could really go out of my way to post/share the flyer with their pictures and the picture of the car on it and try to bring attention to it to people up here in the Payson area.

In the meantime, good thoughts and prayers being sent to you and your family!

And if you get any updated information about this situation that you could pass along to us, please do.

They have contacted their parents, they are fine, but not coming back.

They have been reclassified as runaways.

It's amazing how stupid teenagers can be when their hormones get all whipped up.
I hope they come to their senses and go back home.
The streets of this 4.3 million population city are no place for naive kids.
Glad they at least connected with their parents.
