End of March, you could need a light jacket or sweater in the early morning/evening, depending on what your tolerance is. You can check online for Phoenix average temps, deduct a few degrees from the low to account for Anthem being on the outskirts and at a slightly higher elevation. Check the 10 day forecast before you leave, and take it from there. Enjoy your trip!

The last Saturday in March last year it hit almost 100. I remember it clearly, it was the first day I got in the pool and the water was not bad! I would plan on it being warm but a jacket might still be needed after the sun goes down.

It can be that warm, but that's not typical, and you are right, it will cool off a lot at night that time of year even if it's on the warm side during the day. Last March, even though we had the nineties that last week, the average low was 59.5 (I looked it up ) That's why checking the 10 day forecast before leaving is a good idea.

Just mentioned the nearly 100 to let the OP know to plan for almost anything.

Regardless, I would pack for summer with a jacket.

There you go. It's all about layers, here, with fewer layers by the time you get to March.
