So the question is...is Kierland actually NE Phoenix or Scottsdale? It is right off of Scottsdale road. I am already setting up some Account Directors to go knocking on their door as soon as they land

It's Phoenix with a Scottsdale mailing address.

Kierland is Phoenix and the Quarter is Scottsdale. Scottsdale Road is the boundary line.

I agree ... and while I'd prefer the company HQs to have a downtown location, the Kierland choice is not bad at all. It proves more and more that Kierland is not just another cookie cutter suburban development ... it's a major high quality infill project with an urban feel. The Kierland location is also going to be a nice addition for not only NE Phoenix, but Scottsdale as well.

I won't harp too much on the details, but the main reason is it's STUPID to have big city amenities like sports stadiums named after tribes. America West Arena was a perfect name for what is now Talking Stick Arena (which just sounds inane and retarded). I'd really prefer the stadiums be named for the teams which play there (Cardinals Stadium, Suns Arena, Diamondbacks Field, etc.), but corporate names are the next best thing. Talking Stick sounds anything but business oriented!
