Caught my eye cause this is my neighborhood. Everything around here is very nice, imo. Neighborboods are quiet, well-kept, clean.

It's a good neighborhood with several communities there including Saguaro Canyon and Cooper Corners.

It's about one mile south of the Chandler airport, and 5 minutes to the 202 for quick access to the 101 and I10 north, and to the Chandler Fashion Mall.

There are some good restaurants opening up the sw corner of Fulton Ranch at Ocotillo and Alma School. It's also close to Home Depot and Lowes on Arizona.

I am buying a house in the Redwood Estates. I was wondering if you can tell me how the schools are there?

It's very nice. I can't really add anything about the positives as others have mentioned. The only negative is that it's in the southern part of Chandler so it doesn't offer the advantages of proximity to Tempe and the rest of the central valley that the northern areas of Chandler offer. It can take you 20 minutes just to drive from Ocotillo to the northern parts of Chandler.

Here are a couple of links that will help you. The first is the Chandler district information, and the other is where people have rated the schools.

Chandler Unified School District :: Visit Our Schools (http://ww2.chandler.k12.az.us/visit_schools.html - broken link)

Chandler Schools - Chandler Public Schools - Chandler School Ratings - Best Chandler Schools

These are the schools near Redwood Estates.
BASHA ELEMENTARY - 480-883-4400
3535 S. Basha Road, Chandler, Arizona 85248

Basha High School - (480) 224-2100
5990 South Val Vista Drive Chandler, AZ 85249

From Redwood Estates you are about 5 miles from the 202, and Arizona Ave is wide and fast. So far they haven't put any speed cameras on that road. Alma School is slower, with more traffic, and they have one speed camera set up.

SAN TAN K-8 - (480) 883-4600
1550 E. Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ
