Going east on I10 is fine in the evening until around the tunnel and it limps from there. But you only have to get to Tempe, so that is probably something you could stand. FWIW, the ramps from 303 to 93 and vice-versa are open now. That was a major bottleneck up until a couple weeks ago.
Pay attention to the exit from the 303 to I10 east. It is on the opposite side from what you expect. You could end up in California!

Just got back from Vegas last week. I live in Tempe and do the trip several times a year. It all depends on the time of day and if its the beginning of the weekend when everyone is driving out to Vegas...

I don't know about you but if I have spent four hours driving the last thing I want to do is spend more time driving! I'm all about taking the fastest way to get somewhere, unless its first class on a flight I'm not paying for

Going east on I10 is fine in the evening until around the tunnel and it limps from there. But you only have to get to Tempe, so that is probably something you could stand. FWIW, the ramps from 303 to 93 and vice-versa are open now. That was a major bottleneck up until a couple weeks ago.
