I will be moving to AZ next month to work for WellsFargo, Chandler.

Can someone suggest me a couple of good locations (in and around Chandler) to rent an apartment?

My requirement is-
1. Area should be decent, very secure
2. good school for my 5yr daughter, in the vicinity
3. less than 45-60 mins of office commute (each side)
4. I should be able to get a house within 1K-1.4K range.

There's a brand new apartment complex on Dobson and Germann but I forget the name, it is probably a 5 minute drive to the Wells Fargo campus. The school would be Tarwater. Another new complex is located at Dobson between Ocotillo and Queen Creek Rd and feeds into Jacobsen Elementary. You should be able to find both on Google maps and both schools are excellent.

Around Alma School and Pecos is a pseudo apartment housing complex that's brand new. I've not heard the best about the management, but it's temporary.

Thank you asufan !! great info.

Is it "San Palacio" on Dobson & Germann? & "Ocotillo Springs" on Queen Creek?

No, just looked them up, the one on Germann is "Vive Luxury Apartments" the other is "Almeria at Ocotillo". I mentioned these two because they are new, however there are many others in the area that may be less expensive. The good thing about the area you will be working is that it is next to one of the top school districts in the state and has open enrollment so you won't need to live far from work.

Go to the Mark Taylor Properties website and find locations in the area you are looking for. They are all nice complexes, many of them quite new.

Almeria is about 5 minutes from Wells Fargo. You could walk to work if you wanted to.
And Chandler school district has top notch schools. Welcome to the south Chandler area !

When we were looking at apartments in Chandler, we looked at the Almeria site for all of 5 seconds because at the time the prices were mind-blowingly more expensive than all the other apartments in the same area. Almost like back-home expensive. San Palacio is nice, it's a Mark Taylor built and run property (lots of other properties by Mark Taylor are just run by them, not built, huge difference!).

San Palacio's square footage figures seem way too big for the space though even when you factor in things like do they include the patio or not, etc. If you are by yourself or just have one other person (significant other or kid), the space is fine. Were I single, I'd live there in a heartbeat. The place is really, really, really nice as far as apartments go. Lots of cabinet/closet space, new/nice fixtures, etc.
