Entertainment Partners (EP), the leading global end-to-end provider of payroll and production management services for all aspects of the entertainment industry based in Burbank, California, announced the opening of a new technology office in Tempe. After a 20-city search, a growing technology division of Burbank, California-based Entertainment Partners is opening in downtown Tempe. Entertainment Partners, a back-office technology company for movies, television and commercial productions field accounting and services, is opening the Arizona office because the culture in Tempe is reminiscent of the culture in their 'beautiful downtown' Burbank home.

To all the naysayers who feel that businesses don't care about culture, read the above quote.

Actually if you read the article you'd know that it's actually India (likely) bleeding. The jobs brought here are ones that were being done overseas.

They specifically said "Downtown Burbank", I assume because it is also full of 20-somethings with social skills, as opposed to the typical 20-something in Silicon Valley. I think this is why we are seeing Silicon Valley companies having sales people here as tech people are generally not great at dealing with other people.
