What are some good birthday party venues in the southeast valley for 4-5 year old kids?

Ahwatukee, Tempe, Chandler area.

I've thought about Main Event, but the kids are too young for that. Maybe Peter Piper??

FlipSide in Gilbert has a lot for kids to do. Amazing Jakes is another option.

Main Event and Flipside. Amazing Jakes is not as good, the games are older and usually many aren't working. Also Bounce U for younger kids

Makutus Island is ideal for that age range. My son is 4 and he loves it.

Another vote for Makutu's Island. Haven't been there for years, since my nephew's kids were small, but it was great for that age range.

For 4-5 year olds, I much prefer venues that are private and self-contained vs. going to a party venue that is open to the public (i.e. Chuck E Cheese). At that age, most parents still stay at birthday parties and don't do drop off- it's nice to have the opportunity for parents to socialize with other parents, but it's trickier to really talk with other parents if you have to hover and stay with your own kid to avoid any issues with other kids or random people that come into the party venue. For that age group, gymnastics parties are great because they can include both genders. Most gyms will be a private party that won't have food restrictions (i.e. Pump It Up prohibits you from bringing in your own food and you have to purchase pizza through their vendor) and it's large enough of a venue that kids can run around an play safely. Some gyms in that area are Desert Lights (Chandler), Gold Medal Gymnastics (Tempe and Chandler locations) and Arizona Dynamics (Chandler)

I personally wouldn't book a birthday party at a trampoline park (i.e. Jump street) for the 4-5 year old age group. Trampoline parks are a notorious hangout for older kids/tweets for weekend birthday parties and the supervision at places like that vary, and its most likely a high school aged employee that is responsible for monitoring.
