Hello, I appreciated reading all the postings concerning the Queen Creek area. My short visit confirms the good things many of you have said. I also understand Queen Creek is a bit isolated, at least for the time being. My question concerns the age groups that live in this area. I understand that it is a young family community but are there many in the 50+ age group that live in these master planned communities? If so what percentage would you guess? I wish to live there and take advantage of the current housing prices but was wondering how the older crowd would fit in. You see I'm not quite ready for the 55+ crowd. I appreciate your honesty and I look forward to reading your replys. Thank you....

As long as you are comfortable being around young children in your community, there is no reason why you would not fit in. Just get to know your neighbors and take part in community activities and you will get along just fine.

My wife and I are part of the older crowd and we wouldn't think of being in a retirement community. Our community is mixed with retired people, young couples in late twenties, and middle age people with very young families.

Default fitting in....

Thanks Captain....not that I would socialize to a large degree with the younger crowd, I just like seeing younger people in the neighborhood. It has a way of making you feel younger. The psychological impact I guess.
