My plumber just retired and closed down his company, so I'm looking for someone new. Someone recommended Reddi Services (602-277-3033), and I was pleasantly startled to hear that they come and do a FREE estimate and diagnosis. I'm sure you know how so many companies charge you at least $50 for trip charge, or whatever they choose to term it, so that after you're stuck with that initial charge, you're more likely to give up and go ahead with the work, even if you feel it's a rip-off.

I'm tempted, but I prefer companies that charge an hourly rate, not a flat fee, and ideally I prefer companies with maybe 4-6 plumbers. (With 1-2 plumbers, there is usually a long wait, and with over 10 plumbers, you'll always get a different guy.)

Any of you know this company, or do you have a plumber you love, preferably not too expensive? Please note that I'm looking for a licensed plumber, not an over-priced unlicensed handyman.
