Its beautiful inside, but as you stated, the $15 prices (no matinee prices!!!!) are ridiculous, as is the parking over there. I wont go back, I'd far rather deal with the Shea theater instead, old as it is.

I actually like it, but the seats are so comfortable (you have a lot of legroom in front) its hard to stay awake.

I also like the Harkins Tuesday Night Classics at the "new" Cine Capri - you get to see old classics on the big screen again for $5. I'm going to see West Side Story next week.

Haven't been to the new Camelview. Is it comparable to the Esplanade 14 or does it have features that Esplanade lacks? I ask because the ticket prices are lower at the Esplanade.

Maybe I'll visit at some point in time to see what it's all about and take in the "experience". They're continuing to get films I want to see that are screening elsewhere. I just wasn't ready when unexpectedly confronted with those ticket prices. The most I've ever paid for a standard film was $12 at a United Artists theater in Denver.

The higher price is for the privilege of watching commercials and movie previews (more commercials) on the big screen...in a
comfy chair.

Exactly! What's the point of seats that make it likelier that you'll doze off?
