McCain should have been gone long ago. I don't think he is principled as much as he is a self-serving backstabber at this point. Why the heck have his constituents continued to elect the man?

Because Arizona residents don't vote and the ones who do are gray haired.

Flake's just as spineless and slimy as evidenced by his vote for DeVos.

McCain and Flake voted for DeVos and Sessions, along with the others. McCain won't run again, so he knows it doesn't matter what he does or says, in the end. Flake, on the other hand, has people pretty fired up against him.

How mccain keeps getting elected is beyond me and is a prime example of why we need term limits.

But why is that slimy? DeVos philosophy is pretty much in line with Republican thinking regarding education that embraces private and charters over traditional public schools.

I will tell you what is slimy is the article that Flake wrote with Ducey about creating a new 12th district instead of AZ being in the 9th court of appeals. In the article they reason that the need is based on court cases taking too long. In reality, they want to create a conservative court of appeals to get wing nut legislation passed which the 9th stops on a routine basis. Their intent was so transparent yet they decided to offer a bunch of bull about the 9th being overwhelmed and cases taking too long etc.

I disagree that it was a bandwagon move.

Remember Trump FAMOUSLY said, "I like people who weren't captured."

That is going to sting a very long time...there has never been any doubt in my mind that that endorsement had absolutely nothing to do with supporting Trump whatsoever. McCain is never going to fully support anyone who undermines his entire life narrative.

Because she's dangerously unqualified, he failed to listen to the concerns of his constituents and voted with the establishment instead of common sense. He's lucky he has the unwavering Mormon support or I think it may cost him in the long run.
