New Member here. I live at the corner of Ironwood and Germann Rd. This area is unincorporated Queen Creek, Pinal County. We also have had a zip code change here> it's now 85240. It was 85242. Also Ironwood has just been widened to a four lane divided road. Traffic is very heavy in the morning, and afternoon drive times. It is 7 miles from Germann Rd to the 60 freeway. 99% of the vacant land on either side of Ironwood to the 60 is State owned. It will slowly be auctioned off over the next several years. One advantage of this part of town is We have H20 water Company service. Most Queen Creek (along Hunt Hwy) is Johnson utilities. Much higher. Also in the next couple months we will have two major shopping centers within 3 miles from us.

I've lived in the area for 2 years, and am moving this week into town. A few years ago there was nothing in the area, except for an old trailer park/ golf course community. I'd say 90% of the population has been there 6 years or less. There really isn't much to say about the area except that it is a long drive from anything worth driving to.

Thanks, I wish they would hurry up, they have been talking about it for two years now. My Wife works for them and it would be under a ten minute drive. All of the nurses aren't holding there breath in tell they break ground.

Default Queen Creek Crime/Taylor Ranch

I live further south than the area described. That area is about a 10-15 minute drive to the Freeway. There is alot of construction going on and we are having alot more amenities brought in. South on Ironwood about 2 miles from TR is a Fry's Grocery store about 5 miles west is the new QC shopping area, the Target is open, the World Market is open. So we do feel out of it here in the boonies but it is evident that it is growing with retail shops around etc. Good luck with your move!
