All of my friends can do that, but are smart enough to call me so we can split the commission. That's the way I do my deals, I don't market myself at all and frankly I don't care to spend much time doing Real Estate. Recent deal I did was a new build in the mid 400's. The builder has that $13,500 dangling for the taking, might as well get a piece of it. I really only do deals when my friends already know what they want and want to make an offer, or when they have a new build community they want to see.

Having said that, pretty girls that are well spoken and go to a new home sales training program can get on with builders with little experience and start making $150K-$250K. New home builders want to be able to train and don't particularly care to hire a resale agent that is used to free time and won't stay long. Yes it's sexist, but the builders do look at appearance.

That's pretty much every industry. How do you think feminism started? Ugly women needed jobs too. But what they don't realize is there aren't many ugly men working in those jobs either. We have to go learn a skill lol.
