Hello again everyone. Well it is obvious that the housing market in Phoenix is rough right now. I have a hard time finding anywhere that is comparable to the prices that the arizona area offers right now, but how is the job market right now? Is it hard to find a good job? I have been searching for employment but its doesnt seem like there are just an endless amount of places to work like other cities.

Probably depends on your skills and experience. Try jobing.com to see some local listings.

yeah, I'm kind of wondering that as well. I will have a master's degree in geography in August and hope to land a Geographic information system (GIS) position somewhere close to mayo hospital. I guess time will tell.

I'm in the environmental field and deal with consultants often, and I really can't think of any offices in Phoenix that are up there. I think you're going to have to look more central, unless you're looking for jobs with cities outside of Phoenix. There are a few places, like private water or sewer companies, that may be up there, but I'm not sure. Most of the consultants I deal with are in central/downtown Phoenix, Tempe, and a few in Scottsdale.
