Good idea. I wonder if putting solar on most roofs would help. Not only would it provide air insulation between panel and roof but maybe reflect back some sunlight. (I am no expert on solar.)

I wonder how much moisture (bad) the proliferation of swimming pools cause. Moisture helps hold heat in the air after the sun sets. Moist air can carry more heat.

My guess would be negligible. When we are running below 20% humidity in June/July I don't think pools are a factor.
