Just wondering if you'd like to share, size of your house plus what you pay for cleaning? My neighbors house is a bit bigger than mine, 500 square feet at least, and their cleaner wants to charge me the same rate for my house 1,200 sq feet for $100 monthly, seem reasonable? The price didn't bother me so much, but just feels weird having a smaller house, no kids, generally cleaner.

Why not save $100 and clean your house?

Some people have better things to do. Cool if you don't, but are you actually asking why housekeepers exist?

OP, one cleaning per month for $100? Seems reasonable depending on how long they're there. I pay mine $20/hr and she's here more frequently.

Where/how does one find a housekeeper in this area? I usually get recommendations from friends/family, but I have none here and none of my coworkers seem to have a housekeeper.

Starla, this forum or nextdoor.com, good ways to link up with people.

TempeAzNative, could I clean the house? Yes but I work 6 to 7 days a week, 80 plus hours regularly, it's nice to get 2 to 4 hours back and not clean it.

Thanks everyone for the replies.

Staria: I recently moved to a small condo complex and asked my new neighbors. Nextdoor.com is an excellent resource too.

I pay 140 every two weeks, single story, 3600 sq feet. We keep the house very clean, so she usually just has light dusting, vacuum a little, bathrooms, and mop the floors.

OP the size of your neighbors house doesn't matter, fees depend on what has to be done and the difficulty of the job.
We pay $140.00 every 3 weeks, 2 girls, 3 hours for 2000 sq. ft.
