I've seen a couple companies that offer Helicopter tours on the web. It's not cheap, but it's something that's been on my wish list since moving here. Has anyone ever done it? Any particular company you'd recommend?

What do these tours show you? Is it just the Phoenix area or do they go elsewhere? I've done a helicopter tour at night over the Las Vegas Strip and it was really fun, just wondering what sights they would show you over Phoenix.

I've flown in and out of Sky Harbor enough, I've see it

Lol, I understand the scenery may not be that great. Just looking for something different to do. I think it would be a great date idea.

It would be fun if they flew over Sedona!

I'd pay good money for that! Sedona is beautiful! Phoenix is...a brown cloud city. I see plenty of brown from ground level, seeing it from above would be quite, I don't know, depressing?

I wouldn't go that far.

Besides taking a flight tour over Phoenix at night would be the way to go, much prettier and romantic over the city lights.

Well that's the way I view Phoenix. It's an ugly a$$ city. I don't mean to say it's not without its beauty too. All im saying, for me, is that a helicopter tour of Phoenix would be a waste of money.
