Many moons ago, my sis hauled her VW Sunbug from Florida to Minnesota. The rental boxtruck was also loaded with her household belongings. She was through teaching in Florida and had decided to come home to Minn.

I have an equally small vehicle that I need to move from Arizona to Minnesota. It's a older car (12 ft long & 2000 lbs) and I dont want to drive it or tow it. I remembered that my sis had done it and was just wondering if anyone else had any similar experiences. I do have just a few belongings to move, as well. I heard that they do have tie downs inside. I was thinking about April, so as not to deal with any icey roads. What say you?

Well, I did some investigating and I guess that it's not a good idea. So I guess that it's back to the old drawing board. If I could get the car to a larger city near I-17, it would help to get a transport truck to pick it up. Right now it's out in the desert, about 75 miles west of Wickenburg. I'm going to try and get it running first, then worry about transport to Minnesota. :sigh:

Why not get a uhaul pick-up and a car hauler? You can load the car using ratchet tow straps.
