Hi,
I am considering moving from NJ to Phoenix this summer and one my main concern is my psoriasis.

It is pretty well controlled right now but considering the very low humidity in Phoenix, is this is a deal breaker for me? Is there anyone with psoriasis living in super low humidity climates who can maybe chime in?

Thanks.

I've lived all over the world in 30 years of military service and never had the skin issues I have here due to the dry conditions. My hands are always dried and cracked and no amount of moisturizer will overcome the dry weather. I can only imagine that psoriasis would be affected by the dry air.

I have had a mild case for years. The dryness of New England winters combined with dryness in house from the furnace felt a lot worse than the lack of humidity here. But that's just me.

I've had psoriasis on my scalp of all places, it's related more to genetics than weather or geography.

My doctor gave me some topical ointment and I'm wearing my hair shorter ever since I developed the problem, both of which have helped.
