What exactly is the point of the question? I wear spring/fall interchangeably. It's only winter/summer that are really different.

Everyone seems to be missing the point that most fashion lines are not sold in summer and winter cycles; they are sold in spring and fall cycles, with spring including summer and fall including winter. January is typically when the fall collections are clearanced off to make room for spring, and July is typically when the spring collections are clearanced off to make room fall.

I think the truth is no one here really cares. In a climate like Phoenix, there's no real change of seasons. Sandals and swimwear is sold in stores year round unlike northern colder climates where you literally see the changing of the seasons in stores.

No, it’s just that no one cares about “fashion cycles”. Most people don’t get too wrapped up in what shade of pink their polo shirt is and in what season it should be worn. Poking fun at it has made for some entertaining reading though!

I know that with IZOD for Fall 2017, JCPenney and Kohl's seemed to take opposite approaches locally. The only Fall 2017 products that JCPenney stocked locally this year were the fall-colored polos and button-downs. Kohl's on the other hand stocked the Fall 2017 lineup more extensively, stocking the fleeces locally.

No one is missing the point. No one cares and are poking fun because you seem to think this matters to anyone.

Yes. Spring usually is bright colors and pastels and will include more clothes for warmer weather to last through summer, while Fall is usually dark colors, neutrals, and earth tones and usually includes more clothes for colder weather to last through winter.

USUALLY, yes. In colder climates. Here, not so much.

Also, I just wear what I want, who cares.
