I live near the bottom of Superstition Mountains, I've seen scorpions inside and outside my house, Doesn't bother me at all. I see all kinds of critters around my house and the community, like snakes, tarantulas, lizards, owls, coyotes, bobcats, mou ntain lions, wolfs and so on.....I love it! We need to remember that they were here first,it's their home.

I get the sense that most Arizonans have never, or only very rarely, seen a scorpion inside their house. Others (including this guy) inexplicably seem to be sitting on the motherlode.

I'll put it another way... Until I LOOKED/hunted for scorpion's, I saw maybe one dead scorpion in the house (we leave for 6 months). Once I saw them in the house, I have killed a couple hundred over a few years outside. But until I actually looked for them, I have not noticed them.

Shining a black light on walls around my place has been pretty eye opening. Those things will glow for a few days even after I eviscerate them.
