92 with 57% right now in Fishers, IN. If I had to deal with those dreadful winters I'd expect better than this in the Summer. No thanks.

That's just today. The rest of the week is 84, 75, 76, 76, and 81. They get breaks, unlike us (even though this June has been pretty decent so far I must admit).

Regarding the comment above, nothing could be further from the truth.

To the OP, come out and take a look. Gilbert is a fine place to live.

Oh snap, I caught a slight sense of Phoenix positivity from you there. Are you sick today?

Just sick of the heat, gnats, and car batteries.

As far as the housing stock in Indianapolis/Indiana, it's total CRAP unless you buy an all brick home (custom). But those are insanely expensive. Most of the newer home stock is in vinyl villages, with a few blocks of brick. Looks horrible.

The stuff looks terrible, falls off in the storms, warps, you can see the seams, just ghastly!

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I much prefer our stucco to vinyl. It looks much better.

I have lots of positivity towards Phoenix (and lots of negativity, too). Just not positivity towards our atrocious summer weather. If you don't believe me, hop over onto the "city vs city" board or "general US" board.

This is NOT a Chicago thread or a Chicago forum. Stick to the topic of the 2 cities the OP asked about.

Apparently you have never owned a home in Texas - Property taxes are very high.
I was in Houston for a short time, I prefer Phoenix weather by a mile.
