I have been dating someone who will need to go in for an interview with Immigration. And I want him to follow me to Phoenix when I move really soon.Does anyone have the heads up on how well they work or treat people in this area?

Work or treat people in what area? Phoenix in general? There are tons of immigrants here, legal and illegal. Are you going to run into some racists? Probably...as much as you would any where else. Most people here are from somewhere else so it is not like a naturalized citizen from a different country is going to raise any eyebrows.

Hopefully he's here with a current, valid green card. Otherwise he may not come back out of his next immigration meeting.

Arizona requires employers to use e-verify when they hire people. If your guy has a valid SSN or green card, he should be ok as far as finding work. If he has a TPIN, he can probably find work but it will be as an independent contractor (can't pay W2 wages to TPIN holders). If he passes the e-verify, it will just depend on his skill set and if it's in demand out here.

OP's question is about INS or whatever it's called these days. How Immigration Office handles cases and how they treat people-that's it!
