Hello! So I may be moving to the area, I have a job lined up via a family member that would be near the intersection of N Pima Rd. and E Pinnacle Peak Rd. my question being what are my cheapest viable living options within a decent commute of that area? Also this would be a career change for me, as most of my working experience is in manufacturing/production. If I decided that I would like to go back to that type of work how is the Phoenix area when it comes to Manufacturing companies? or manufacturing jobs in general. My search yielded results from about 10 years ago. Thanks!

Pima and Pinnacle Peak? High Rent District...what is your definition of "cheap" and what is a reasonable commute?

Old town Scottsdale wouldn't be a bad commute. North Phoenix would be doable also.

I wouldn't like to spend more than $800/month and I would be fine driving 30 min to and from work I suppose...

And thanks kytoaz, will check them out!

I'd look at North Phoenix, Deer Vallley or Moon Valley might be good places to start

Yeah Old Town may be a bit pricey with an $800 budget. N Phoenix, Deer Valley, maybe look around PV Mall?

My old apartment complex in North Phoenix in a not good but not bad neighborhood has one bedroom apartments for $900+. This in an older complex built in the 80's with few amenities. You may need to increase your budget.
