Hmm...well that sounds like a business decision rather than a technical capability. DOCSIS 3.1 can "technically" handle 1G uploads but if the provider is capping that...Wonder why they would care if you were uploading...not many people are?

I never said it was a technical limitation. I honestly don't know one way or another.

From what I've seen, they offer two "Gigablast" services, one via cable and one fiber. Only with fiber do you get 1G down and up.
