Anyone else feel the big 7.1 aftershock tonight around 8:25 PM? I'm in Chandler and was sitting in my home office. Windows rattled, my eyes couldn't focus on my computer monitor. I felt instantly dizzy and nauseous.

Sorry for the crazy long link, but the USGS website is down. I wonder why!

The pool at my son's house in Goodyear was sloshing. The 7.1 is now the main shock because it's the biggest one. The 6.4 was a foreshock.

No, we did not feel it, we are in West Valley. Our daughter and SiL are in Ridgecrest and were standing outside talking to neighbors when the 8:19 quake hit tonight and she said it was much stronger than the first one.

I was on the road driving. So no, I didn't feel it. But then again, I'm used to earthquakes so i don't feel them as often as other folks.

It was amusing watching the local news last night as the talking heads were just making stuff up as they went along, clearly not familiar with earthquake occurrences.

They told people that if you're indoors when there's a quake, get outside. This is wrong. You're safer indoors under a desk or in a doorway.

I was at a movie theater watching Rocketman so I didn't notice, but my dogs and cats were super wound up when I got home around 10. They are usually winding down for the night but they were all up and running around for awhile. I don't think it was a coincidence.

That was some scary craziness! If we get many more of those, expect Arizona home values to skyrocket! I'm in a top floor apartment in OC right by Angel stadium and this building was designed to sway and stay standing. Boy did it sway!! Definitely ready to be Arizona bound soon.

Nothing to report from Downtown Phoenix. I was just listening to Rick Tocchet on Spittin Chiclets. Sitting in the exact same spot where I could feel some rumblings a few years ago.

I felt it here in Central Phoenix. I was sitting on my couch and it felt like something was crawling around underneath the cushions lol.

No, just the usual rumbling under the Camelview theater.
