Usually Nov to May period. Extreme hot summer months may burn open cut areas and disfigure trunk and/or discolor the areas where cut.

If you just want them cleaned up, I would as posted above. But having them removed completely, I think anytime the tree people are available.

Actually, the company who does my "landscape upkeep" showed up today, and although it's an extra fee (which seems logical), they're doing them today.

I can't tell what you're asking. Are you asking for advice on how to trim palms, or are you looking for a company that does it? If the latter. here are three names: TreeTek, Aztec Landscaping (Gilbert), and Pablo BullBoxer31 at Rosescape.
