Hello Everyone!

I'm wondering how i can find out the history of my house because Google sucks and i'm not able to make it to a library during the day. So i know it was built in 2003 its in the Laveen area...But can anyone tell me what was in this area before all this housing was built. Baseline and 43rd area... I've had creepy things happening in my house weird things i'm catching on my cameras so if anyone has any information i'd greatly appreciate it...

Sounds spooky. Care to elaborate?

May 25, 2003: A developer clearing land for a housing development razed two stone silos standing near the northeast corner of 43rd Avenue and Dobbins Road. The silos dated from around 1900 and were visible landmarks throughout Laveen. They were torn down "at four in the morning on a weekend when everybody was sleeping" A Richmond-American Homes subdivision was later built on the land.

All I know about that area is that it was used as a burial ground for the criminally insane for 200 years before some real estate developer built houses over it

No doubt at all it was a cursed Indian burial ground. That's the only logical explanation possible. Of course, when you sell your house, you'll have to make a full disclosure of that.

You can fill out a Open Public Forms Request from the city to get you the information - here's the link: https://www.phoenix.gov/pio/public-records-request

Be very specific as to what you are looking for, eg, land use prior to development; any environmental issues in the area; etc.

So, no realtor or developer told you anything about this prior to your purchase? Yikes. I would have run as fast as possible in the other direction.
