Hi!
I’m new To the forum. I have a few questions :my husband and I have bought property in Cassa grande in Los Montanas neighborhood....it has great lot size with views. We are from Illinois anticipate moving in next 3 years. With all the talk of lucid coming in...any talk of more stores etc.? How will the town keep up with influx of people. Will target come back?
My next question is will CG be an annex to phx?
Is Los Montanas really starting to take off...are there builders who will come to CG and build with reputable subs....suggestions?
I know a lot of people do not like CG as phx and Scottsdale is hopping....but I would prefer 2 lane no traffic less stress...this is why we chose it....maybe because I am from Illinois I don’t see everything but so far it’s a beautiful little town.

Thoughts and suggestions 😎

Sorry, I know this isn't what your asking, and I'm sure that someone else will chime in to answer your question properly...But I couldn't stop myself from pointing out that it's:

Casa Grande

and

Las Montanas (even though it should be "Montañas").

Either way, welcome to Arizona!!

Hello,

So, I am sort of the Casa Grande here on C-D, although there are others familiar as well. You are actually in the COUNTY area of Casa Grande if I am thinking of the right subdivision and yes, you will have plenty of peace and quiet for years to come out that way.

In the CITY everything is booming again right now. Already well more new building permits this year than all of last year.

Lucid Motors did start grading last week, I just attended a groundbreaking of a mid-size Best Western Plus in town, and lots of other things in the works.

Will Target come back? Probably not - BUT, there are many things finally starting to move back into the mall space although they are not all going to be retail stores.

Casa Grande is a pretty well planned city and hopefully we will handle our growth well.

No, Casa Grande will never be annexed to Phoenix, and it will be a VERY long time before it even seems to be connected to that area directly.

Best of luck!

It's already considered part of the MSA, the Phoenix Metro. Glad you like it. Definitely not for me.

With the Indian reservation in between, I don't think any perceived connection between CG and Phoenix will ever be much different than it is now.

Exactly, honestly if it wasn’t reservation land, a massive portion of both Gila and Salt River reservations would have been developed by now.
