I can't believe racism is even being discussed. Sure, if you go to Vidor, TX you'll likely experience it, but so will I if I cruise through South Central LA. Any metropolitan area and most rural areas will be just fine. If you don't make race an issue, other people won't. This is 2019...there's no racist boogeyman out to get you and avoid watching CNN.

As far as AZ? I am sure we have some survivalists and possibly some white supremacist...SPLC tracked 20 hate groups in AZ..most of which I have never heard of except the "Proud Boys"... well and I guess they classify the FLDS in Colorado City as a hate group...

Again OP...not really anything to stress over, your kids and family will be fine...there is no overt white agenda in AZ unless you are illegally crossing our border...which isn't a racist thing it would be more of a "stop breaking the law" thing. Well...to be fair to SOME it is a racist thing but...those people are *******s to begin with.
It's not really off topic, because OP brought it up. But even if it was 3,000, that is about 0.000009% of the population. Not something anyone should really be concerned with.

Sorry...not your post being off topic...my response could be construed as taking a tangent from the OP's original question. I would agree with you...not something that you are really going to have to worry about in AZ.
