We just moved last Sunday from Gilbert to Queen Creek. We're still learning how to operate everything in the house. Does anyone know how to increase the water pressure in the master shower? It has a rain showerhead and a handheld showerhead. The water pressure for the sinks is perfect, but the shower has a very weak stream coming from either head.

Thanks in advance for your kind assistance!

If that is the Delta, you can clean it by just pressing the individual pieces of rubber with your thumb, and that will loosen the deposits, if any. That is likely a 2.5 gpm...I prefer the gear driven 1.5, water sense, also by Delta, but not a handheld. They are about 10 USD. Better shower, 40% less water.

There are probably a few flow restrictors in multiple places through the fixture. They look like plastic disks. Pull or drill them out and let it rip!

Yep. New showerheads have these little inserts inside that restrict the flow. It's supposed to save water, but it's a pain if you truly enjoy a shower. They are easy to take out.

As others have mentioned there are flow restrictors in shower heads sold in the U.S.. You can pull them out with a good needle nose pliers. There are many youtube videos on this. Here is just one:

That is a watersense showerhead, by Delta, and does not contain flow restrictors.
