I’ll be in Phoenix next month. What’s the best restaurant to have a romantic evening for a couple in their late 20’s? The Compass, Top of the Rock, or Different Pointe of View.

Elements over any of those. Steak 44, Ocean 44, Maple and Ash too.

Good choices. I'll add Mastros(either one), Dominics, or the ultimate for date night: Cafe Monarch, to the list.

Looking at the choices presented in the OP, it looks like they were going for a view to restaurant

I'd go Elements if that is the case. If prefer point is off, go there for drinks and then another spot in the area for dinner.

I'm not a huge fan of Steak 44. I've mostly been there for work, not sure I'd want to go there with my wife.

If the weather is nice and you can sit outside I'm still a big fan of Lons at the Hermosa.

If you are looking for something with a view, I would add J&G at the Phoenician to the list. Otherwise Elements for sure.

House of Tricks. For the food and ambiance, not for a view.

Great place.

Frankly all the place other than Durant’s that I can think of are here. Durant’s is great if you want an old school steakhouse experience with exceptional service.

Compass room is actually cool. Food is meh but not bad

Yeah. If downtown at the right time, go up to compass, grab a drink and desert. I wouldn't recommend going in for dinner though
