I've seen Martinelli's at most stores here in AZ as well as back in COLO. Welch's too. What I've seen is that Martinelli's gets the stores to set up prominent displays, often at the store entrance. No doubt Martinelli offers stores major discounts on volume buys. I see it pushed hard at the holidays.

I don't know but Minute Maid Fruit Punch has become almost non-existent too.

What pisses me off is the stores complain about grocery being low margin, but then you have MM fruit punch sold out the second it hits the shelves. The others flavors never sell. Instead of devoting more shelf space to the one that sells like crazy they discontinue it!

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I think Welch's might be discontinuing their Target-exclusive Sparkling Mimosa, since I saw it a discounted price last weekend. Unfortunately when I went they were already out of stock; I would have bought one if they had it. I can understand because of COVID-19, it doesn't make sense to sell slow-moving non-core products. I'm glad the Rosé is still available. Target and Walmart seem to give Welch's preferential treatment, while Fry's, Safeway, and Basha's seem to prefer Martinelli's.

One needs only to read the title of the thread to know who initiated it.

As a side news, Welch's has just introduced a Sparkling Cider to compete with Martinelli's. I wonder if the Target-exclusive Sparkling Mimosa is going bye-bye with the introduction of the Sparkling Cider.
