Can anyone confirm that Shea is now selling homes in the active adult community, Trilogy at Vistancia, to families with young children?

Can't answer the question, but I was going to ask if Trilogy is for adults only because looking at the sales and rentals most are 2 BD.

Trilogy at Vistancia started as an "active adult" community in 2004. It is still sellling new builds. Many of the homes are two bedrooms but there may be an additional casita which gives you a third bedroom with its own bath.

Trilogy at Vistancia can sell to persons under 55 but only a certain percentage. Children are permitted to stay for only 90 days at a time. So, in other words, they can sell to families with minor children if it is used as a vacation home only and then for 3 mos at a time.

Motley - Is that true for ALL active adult communities - e.g., Pebble Creek, Province, etc.? The builders CAN sell homes to families with minor children who plan to live in the community - even if for only 90 days?

I am not familiar with the other communities. You might call them to see what their restrictions are on age. I am not sure how I would deal with that issue if I lived there. It would probably be no different if the grandparents next door had their grandchildren for the summer.
