It's excellent! I haven't been since they moved to Van Buren, but I'm sure it's stellar.

Mora is also very good as is Pa'la, but it's more coastal Italian than what people would normally expect from an "Italian restaurant".

If you're a big foodie, I don't think you should be asking in a general interest forum. I'd try Chowhound or read reviews instead.

This is the list that I have been working off of for the past two years. I think that I have been to 20-25 of the restaurants and have not found a dud.

I don't trust reviews, too easy to manipulate. Some of the highest rated restaurants I have been too were not that great. I prefer recommendations from people.

I don't have a definitive answer for best pizza, al pastor, or tacos.

I found a great pizza place. Via Della Slice Shop. Make sure to get the Phoenix Pizza. (I wasn't a fan of their deep dish)

Lou Malnatis was possibly the worst pizza I've ever had. The crust was like a flavorless rock.

For German, I can’t recommend Zur Kate enough. Great food and beer, plus the owner is a hoot!

Yes. Binkley's seems to be the definition of high-end!

https://binkleysrestaurant.com/ The menu is $240 per person and additional items are available. Wine pairings are $200 per person, Wagyu beef is $54 for a 2oz portion; Kaluga caviar is $146 for a 1oz portion; Osetra caviar is $86 for a 1.1oz portion; and foie gras is $45 for a 2.5oz portion. At the time you make your reservation your credit card will e charged for your meal and any additions, plus a 22% service charge and 8.6% tax.

Damn, Detroit. $240 (food) plus $200 (wine) plus a little sniff of Wagyu beef for $54 (I'm sure it is all STUNNING food). After a gratuity and taxes, I'd be looking at $656... Per person! I'm too cheap to depart with $1300 for a couple. I wish I had the courage... It looks wonderful! It makes the Four Seasons pricing look like chump-change!

Maybe I could pass on the wine to save close to $500 and instead, by taking an edible in the parking lot. lol Then I could order a diet Coke... With unlimited refills?!
