If I want to fly in to the Phoenix Airport, go to a concert at Jobing Arena, and then get back to the airport, what are my transportation options?

Cab? Shuttle? Hitchhike?

How much would a cab cost?

SuperShuttle would be $27 each way. You can get a $2 discount if you have/mention AAA card.

probably looking at $40-$50 for a cab each way

it's a real easy drive (all highway) - if not drinking a car rental could work out cheapest

A cab would be very expensive. I would say if super shuttle is that cheap go for it.

Do you not plan on staying overnight? Most shows are over around 11pm, how do you plan on making it back to the airport in time?

I am flying from Vegas, and The concert is a work night. I am hoping like heck that I can fly in around 6 (Leave at 5 PM PST, arrive 7 PM MST), concert at 7, and catch a midnight flight back home.

Round trip tickets are ~120 or so, so its almost cheaper to fly than drive, considering the time I would have to take off of work and skipping $100 a night for a hotel.

Parking $20 at the Arena?

*Edit*
I just checked southwest - I can fly in after work, go to the show, get a hotel, and fly back at 6:00 am in time for work.

Guess thats what I'll have to do....

Wow must be a hell of a concert to be worth the trip.

I noticed you said something about MST...but Arizona is on PST right now, same time as Las Vegas and California.

Arizona time is MST (Mountain Standard Time) year-round. That happens to be currently the same as PDT (Pacific Daylight Time). Daylight savings time ends on November 2nd, 2008.
