The best place I have found is craigs list. They have hundreds of ads a day for homes in the Phoenix area.

Would you suggest Peoria, if so what area or what other cities are near by. I don't know the area at all so I am kind of lost

Actually, I am not from Arizona, but like you, I am relocating there. I don't know much about Peoria, but I did see a couple of nice houses that were reasonably priced there on craigslist. Some of the areas I have heard were nice were Chandler and Scottsdale. I'm not sure how far either one of them are from Peoria

I love peoria....my city of choice
. There are tons of great area's/neighborhoods. Depends on your price range of course and where in peoria your hubby will be working but a few of my fav's are; West Wing and all of the surrounding neighborhoods in that area. You might even want to check out homes around 75th avenue and beardsley/happy valley.....that's a beautiful area as well.

There are many nice areas in both Peoria and Glendale that would make for an easy commute. If it were me, I would live there.

North Peoria is very nice. Since your husband's job is in Peoria, I would look there first. Other nice areas are northern Glendale and Surprise. All have lots of great developments/neighborhoods to choose from. Welcome soon to AZ!

. There are tons of great area's/neighborhoods. Depends on your price range of course and where in peoria your hubby will be working but a few of my fav's are; West Wing and all of the surrounding neighborhoods in that area. You might even want to check out homes around 75th avenue and beardsley/happy valley.....that's a beautiful area as well.
