After going through offer negotiations on a bank owned home in Gilbert, we decided not to counter again. Due to my husband's job transfer timing, it looks like we will need to find an apartment to rent first. I have been looking up apartment complexes that offer short term lease options, and am curious to hear from people who currently live in any of these apartments. We didn't look at apartments while we were in AZ a couple weeks ago since we were hoping to buy before moving out there. Ideally, we want a 2 bed, 1 bath, someplace safe and clean, in-unit laundry, covered or garage parking, pool and close to shopping/restaurants. My husband will be working in Tempe, and I'll be working from home. I don't mind living in Tempe, but we don't want to be living with a bunch of a college kids when both of us will need to be up early including on weekends for my husband.
From looking online (again this can be vastly different from reality) my top choice would be Solana Luxury Condo Rentals in Gilbert, but the price for a 2bd, 2bth on apartments.com ($895) was different from the price on the main website ($975). We'd like to stay at or under $900/month if possible, and this place seems to be close to the shopping center near Val Vista & Baseline which we liked when we visited.
Our other choices were:
Borrego at Spectrum, Gilbert
Sky View Ranch, Gilbert
Scottsdale Gateway, Tempe
Montage at Pecos Ranch, Chandler
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, or if you can recommend other complexes that would be great too!
