Does anyone know of any glass blowing studios in Phoenix? I searched around online but had no luck. The only place I found that offers lessons is the Mesa Arts College and their prices are a little insane.

Any recommendations? Any professionals looking to teach someone how to blow glass? I am willing to pay market rates, not trying to get someone to do it for free or anything..

Thanks!

Check out Cave Creek. There's a lady I knew a long time ago named Andy who blew glass for a living. Maybe do a google search of "andy glass blower"??

Are you sure they offer glass blowing? The site says nothing about blowing glass, just making beads, low hear methods.

I am going to email her to see, it says the studio has closed so I am not sure..

OR - think about the border towns (Mexican side) - I know of a lot of glass blowing studios in Nogales and TJ. They might be willing to show you how its done

Learn to read before you post next time, you seem to have a lot of trouble with comprehension.

My suggestion was merely if you are unable to locate something appropriate in the valley.

Chill out

I closed the glass gallery in favor of devoting all of my time to teaching and promoting other teachers in the areas of glass beadmaking, glass blowing, kiln casting and fusing.

No, you just ignored the post and made your comment anyway, even if it's irrelevant, like you do in every thread.

There are always a lot of glassblowers at the Renaissance Fair. It might be worth driving out there just to talk to some professionals and find out how to get your foot in the door. Check out the list of artisans under "Glasswork" on the Renaissance Fair Website.
