Channel 3 was good until they changed their format to "Family" news. Every story was slanted to the breeder POV.

I won't miss either of them. #3 is the only Phoenix news we get down here is SV, so we tolerate it in the mornings. IMO Dan allowed his political views to bleed over into comments made re;Bush etc.
Brad had a chip on his shoulder. I recall one morning....Tara made a remark on a live remote about being surprised that Brad had a personal hobby interest on the subject he was covering. Brad ansered back that "she was surprised because of her opinions about black men" or to that effect. One of those remarks that any other reporter would have been fired for immediatly.
Jodi Applegate.....the best they had. But my fav is still morning news on channel 10, Hoon, DeAmico and Andrea. We don't get them here............sigh.

The Phoenix media's "Lets exploit the hell out of every miniscule Phoenix/Arizona connection to a national news until it becomes bigger than the original news story itself" M.O. irritates me to no end.

No one station has a decent morning show (then again, I can't stand morning news shows). I'll listen to 92.3 KTAR on my way to work and have discovered, through the last year or so of commuting, that Ned Foster, Pat McMahon and Gayle Bass are Satan and his minions incarnate

I stick to NPR (91.5) or, for a sports fix the sports side of KTAR (620 AM) in the morning drive.

Is there anyone at NPR that tries to sound like they have a pulse? The way they talk puts me to sleep, and it drives me nuts, because I like their news content.

I don't want to be yelled at like Savage, Hannity and Rush, but NPR's newscasters are on the complete opposite side of that spectrum.

I could listen to Scott Simon seven days a week, but he's only on on Saturdays. That said, none of them put me to sleep, and the content is worth the mostly subdued delivery.

Default Glad to see Brad go

does anyone remember a couple years back some of the staff were going to the white mountains to do a news story, Brad was supposed to go, but couldn't get a flight, omg he acted like such a unprofessional baby about the whole, Im not getting to go suituation on AIR! It was such a turn off I couldn't stand to ever watch the show again, any professional news station would have canned him right there. They just played into his tantrum, poor Brad, we are so sorry........... ugh.
