Tell me your victim story. Who rates worse? West or East??
(If you have one, specify your place of residence or neighborhood, type of incident, and approx month and date of crime)

I can honestly say I, or my family, have never had any crime committed toward us...and we've lived in Phoenix since 1992. Lived at 35th Ave and Beardsley for 13 years and now at 67th Ave and Happy Valley and never an incident, knock on wood. I've also never seen a scorpion, dead or alive (aside from at the zoo )

I do know one family that had their car stolen, twice...they lived near 43rd Ave and Bethany Home Rd.

The only victim story I have is that someone stole the parking spot I wanted at the store yesterday.. but I just parked someone else.

EDIT: Now that I think of it someone once ran a stop sign and almost hit me. That would have been a crime.. how can you not see a stop sign?

We've had zero trouble here in Phoenix. When living in Homestead Fl I was robbed at gun point at the T.I.B. Bank parking lot in broad daylight. The only time I've every had any kind of trouble.

We live in Biltmore near Camelback - had the catalytic converter stolen from a truck twice, patio and lawn furniture stolen three times, our neighbor has had his truck stolen twice, there is a home break-in in our neighborhood at least once a week...and we live in the "good" section of town. Phoenix is a haven for criminals. Today in the mail we got information on a Class 2 rgistered sex offender that has moved in four blocks away. If you are a victim of crime, the police do nothing more than send a inceident report in mail for your insurance company. Our propety and auto insurance has gone up three times in the past m two years because of the crime stats. I am a grandmother and have started carrying a gun (loaded and ready to use) EVERYWHERE I go in Phoenix. This is a dangerous place to live.

Depends on where in Glendale. My inlaws live in Glendale in a bad area, about 75th and Glendale, and my husband stayed there for 3 months while we were in the process of moving and the first week he was there someone broke into his truck and stole all the stereo equipment and stuff. Total pain in the butt...

I'm in Goodyear, and over Christmas my neighbor 2 doors down had their Dodge Ram stolen out of their driveway at night... Ours was parked outside too and nicer than theirs, and I'm just thankful they decided to go with the neighbors!!

I was mowing my lawn and went in the house for a breather. When I came back out my mower was gone! This was in the late 70s in south Phoenix. I have never been the victim of anything else here.

We've ALL been kidnapped. That doesn't count.
